Fashion Illustration

My 14-week journey in the fashion illustration course taught me so much about style, technique, and creativity. I am proud to share with you my personal portfolio of sketches that explore different expressions in the fashion world. Among all my illustrations, my personal favorite is a set of sketches on evening wear. Explore my fashion illustrations by clicking the button below.

Draping

As a fashion designer, I believe that draping is an essential skill that every designer must know. That's why I took an introductory course that taught me the technical method of draping. During this course, I learned the art of draping and how to use the three-dimensional properties of fabric to create unique patterns. I am excited to apply these skills to my future designs.

Modaris

During my educational journey, I had the opportunity to learn industry-standard technology used in fashion design and pattern-making. At Central Michigan University, I took a course on Modaris - a computer-aided design software developed by Lectra. This software enabled me to make patterns quickly and efficiently, and I honed my computer-aided design skills. As a portfolio item, I am excited to share some of my coursework from this class to demonstrate my experience in computer-aided design.

Digital Technologies and Craftsmanship

During my studies, I had the opportunity to take a course that focused on the use of digital technologies to enhance garment development and construction. It was a unique experience that helped me understand the importance of incorporating modern technology into traditional practices. I learned how to use custom printed fabric and a laser cutter to create unique garments. This course was instrumental in shaping my ongoing work in fashion and design.

Kaledo

My passion for design has led me to explore various software programs - one of them being Kaledo, a computer aided design software developed by Lectra. During one of my courses at Central Michigan University, I learned in-depth about this software, which comprises of four parts - Kaledo Print, Style, Knit, and Weave. Since then, I have created numerous designs using this software, each one better and more refined than the previous one. It's the perfect tool for any designer, helping you to create seamlessly stunning designs with ease.
